Agriculture is the backbone of the economy. CORE Uganda aims at improving agricultural practices by training farmers and providing affordable safe agricultural inputs to ensure increased productivity. The intention is to transform the Village from subsistence farming to sustainable commercial farming both at households and commercial group levels. These efforts include growing orange trees and vegetables, bee keeping, raising pigs, and milling grains and peanut butter, etc.
